The idea behind Spellbound has been pioneered on various occasions, by various different groups-- but likely, never in the same unique way as we have designed to do so here. The manga and anime subculture behind Loveless, and its often kinky and dark nature, is evidently present across the internet. Its beloved to many trendy and pop-culture minded people; and its importance to its fanbase is undoubtedly present. It is due to this that, the founders of Spellbound are fully intending on delivering the most open-minded and close to cannon experience we can possibly achieve, to bring real justice to Loveless and all it encompasses.

The Loveless Anime/Manga cannon plot is both irrelevent and present in Spellbound's cannon. This roleplay takes place in the same universe as Loveless, however, we have defined the setting to be Japan. Logically so, the world we live in out-of-character is very different from the world the characters of Loveless live in. Additionally, the characters featured in the Loveless Anime/Manga are two insignificant characters in the scheme of the Spellbound cannon plot, and are just as important as the next player made character.

So, in opening, we would like to point out that Soubi, Ritsuka, Seimei, and all other characters featured in Loveless do exist in this world, but for the purpose of our Roleplay, are not to be referenced or mentioned for any purpose other than sitewide plot, which may not be implemented in and of itself. This means that, we would like to ask that no new player reference or use cannon material for their new characters. This includes knowing or being any cannon characters in any way shape or form.

We hope that the opportunity to create a completely unique character within our interpretation of what the Loveless universe is will be an enjoyable experience, and that it will enrich your understanding and enjoyment of the Loveless universe as well.
